Tim joined Anchor April 2019, accompanied by 23 years of experience in operations. Like many others in this industry, he started working as a security officer in a shopping centre in the middle of Birmingham city centre and then progressed from there to being an area/account manager - dealing with all aspects of the day to day operation for a variety of big national accounts.
He considers himself lucky to have worked with some fantastic people and has gained so much knowledge from them over the years, and also built some great friendships along the way.
Out of work Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, and they love to travel and see new places. And whilst traveling, Tim has experienced a few close encounters with animals, such as; swimming with sting rays, having a crocodile on his head (you must ask him about this one!) and sitting on the back of a bull. But his most unforgettable moment was when he was on safari in Kenya and seen the migration from the river bank.
