Cleaning of designated areas, ensuring the agreed cleaning specification is completed, as per the site instructions.
Emptying of bins, ensuring recycled waste is disposed of correctly.
Attending to spillages by making sure they are cleaned up, within an efficient timeframe, to prevent accidents and ensure site and staff safety
Following H&S and COSHH regulations
Proactive interaction with on site clients and customers, offering superb customer service
Use of site-specific equipment, machinery and handling chemicals
Carrying out any other reasonable management requests
To succeed in this role, you will need to have/be:

An understanding of COSHH.
Good attention to detail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for time and attendance monitoring for site-based security and cleaning teams, staff scheduling, CCTV alarm processing and the coordination of Anchor’s key holding and alarm response team.

Duties include:
• Co-ordinating multiple site systems and monitoring booking on and off check calls to ensure employee welfare
• Proactively and continuously monitor the site-based security and cleaning teams by obtaining, collating and reviewing information from multiple sources
• Monitoring alarm activations from remote sites, assessing the cause of the alarms and escalation to the emergency services and nominated keyholders as required
• Identification of fault conditions from our remotely monitored systems, reporting both internally and to our clients nominated keyholders / service providers
• Conducting scheduled and ad hoc CCTV patrols at our customers sites to identify criminal activity, anti-social behaviour, damage, insecure area and faults with the equipment
• Ensure accurate and timely logging and recording of all required information using available IT systems and in accordance with operational processes and guidance
• Provide information, data and appropriate advice and guidance to relevant parties in a timely manner depending on their needs and using available systems
• To act as the main point of escalations for the company outside normal working hours. To escalate issues and incidents in accordance with defined company procedures
• To report and highlight any operational issues preventing the operational effectiveness of the control, for example employees failing to use automated systems to book on/off or high activity alarm systems
• Promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement at all times

To succeed in this role, you will need to have/be:
• SIA Licence
• A full 5-year employment checkable history
• Previous industry related experience preferred but not essential
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
• Problem solving abilities
• Excellent organisational skills
• Excellent IT Skills & Computer Literacy
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Timegate, Immix, Teams, SharePoint, and Office would be a distinct advantage

Due to the nature of the role substantial time will be invested in training and development to ensure competency can be evidence with a number of bespoke management systems.

Main Responsibilities:

To assist in the effective running of security and cleaning operations and ensuring the service is delivered consistently in line with the services specification and to ensure continuity of service standards are maintained.
To Assist in the management of site level issues including investigation, disciplinary and recruitment.
To further develop & support an already established team in becoming world class for Customer Service and Leaders in Customers Service for Consumers with additional needs
To promote company and client interests and culture through effective people management and leadership.
Regularly liaise with Anchor and the Centre Management team daily and attend management meetings weekly which contribute to the monthly KPI meeting.
To ensure continued compliance with Centre and business requirements.
To regularly audit Centre standards and procedures and submit findings to Anchor senior management for review. People management is an essential element of this role and you will be responsible for the management of a team of up to 20 site staff
To Assist in the provision of documented audits of the site weekly to identify improvements and document statutory checks.
Ensure all staff follow all-inclusive/disability training to ensure Charter Walks disability profile is upheld

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required:

Excellent communication with all stakeholders and the ability to disseminate instructions amongst your team will be essential in this role.
This role is for a working Deputy manager so you will be expected to contribute to the effective delivery of the service which may include carrying out security and cleaning related daily tasks.
High standards of “attention to detail” is required
Front Line SIA Security Licence
Experience operating in a customer service focussed environment
Management or supervisory Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of COSHH
Knowledge of both the security and cleaning disciplines
